Take a Trip to Paddy’s Mansion Heist

There have been many innovations at UK online casinos in recent years. One has been the introduction of live casinos and in particular, game shows. Paddy Power and Playtech have recently added a new game to the growing list and ‘Paddy’s Mansion Heist’ is already proving to be a hit with players.

This new game show gives its players “the opportunity to pull off the ultimate heist.” Don’t worry, no laws are going to be broken and you’re guaranteed a great time.

Both Paddy Power and Playtech are highly regarded in the gambling industry. It’s no surprise therefore that a game that has both their names attached to it has been a big success. It’s taken the two companies over a year to produce what is the first immersive live casino experience. The top prize in this game is 4000x your stake, so that’s definitely well worth winning.

Roisin Hogan is the Commercial Director at Flutter Entertainment, of which Paddy Power is a part. Needless to say, she’s extremely excited about what she describes as “one of our most exciting games ever.”

The Commercial Director added that ‘Paddy’s Mansion Heist’ shows the commitment of the two companies to “innovation and delivering an unparalleled customer experience.”

The new game show includes four live action bonus rounds. Players can explore the mansion with the intention of stealing ‘lucrative loot’ from each of the rooms they visit.

As is often the case with online game shows, a wheel plays a key role in the action. This time the all-important wheel has a total of 54 segments.

Casino bonus specialist whatbonuscode explains: ‘The bonus rounds in this game are the Gallery Gamble, The Vault, Mansion Map Bonus Round and the Roulette Robbery Bonus Round. They include multipliers that can be as high as 100x, roulette wheels and instant picks’.

The Chief Product Officer of Playtech is Kevin Kilminster who says his company is “proud to collaborate” with Paddy Power.  He added that bespoke games “have become essential to cater to the evolving market demand for entertainment-led experiences.” Those playing this new game will experience the “theatre and engagement” they are used to when playing Paddy Power games.

There has been a long collaboration between Paddy Power and Playtech. The deal has now been extended so Playtech will continue to be their online casino and live gaming supplier for many years to come.

In addition to all the online games that players can enjoy, there’s plenty for those who visit their betting shops. Playtech will remain the exclusive providers of the Self Service Betting Terminals that are so popular with customers.

The COO of Playtech, Shimon Akad commented that they “look forward to building on our successful partnership” with Paddy Power. They now plan on “progressing plans to provide a customer-centric roadmap” for the future.”  New technologies will also be developed “aimed at digitising the retail space.”

Major sporting tournaments are important for gambling companies. It gives them the chance to attract new customers and make sure current ones continue to gamble with them.

Advertising plays a key role and Paddy Power are known for their humorous advertisements, often involving Peter Crouch among others.

They are no strangers to controversy though. One previous advertisement included a blind football player who appeared to kick a cat rather than the ball. Then there was a video shown on social media that contained remarks that were seen as being homophobic.

They had been planning to use former Prime Minister Boris Johnson in their advertising campaign for Euro 2024. However, their staff were not too pleased with him being involved and it’s now been scrapped.

The often controversial Johnson was due to be seen wearing an England shirt and telling viewers: “I told you, I would get us back in Europe.”

The former Prime Minister – who spearheaded the Brexit campaign in 2016 – was set to wear an England jersey and declare: “I told you I would get us back in Europe,” as part of the promotion.

Despite the campaign’s approval and Johnson’s participation, employees at the Dublin-based betting firm expressed discomfort with the idea. Paddy Power staff weren’t happy at all about his involvement so we won’t be seeing Boris used by them.

That’s not to say the former MP won’t be seen sometime in the future. A Paddy Power spokesperson said that there had been talks about him appearing and they “remain hopeful for future collaborations.”

He may have a short memory though as two years ago Paddy Power introduced a campaign that mocked Johnson. Vehicles they use for advertising purposes had messages on them that included ‘Goodbye Boris.’
