The fight for New York in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 extends beyond the streets and rooftops.  A hidden menace lurks in the form of the E.M.F. (Experimental Mutant Flowers) Plant Science Experiments scattered throughout the city.

Completing these challenges rewards players with valuable Tech Parts and the satisfaction of aiding Max Modell in his scientific endeavors.  This guide delves into the final E.M.F. Experiment, located in Peter Parker’s own home, the  Emily May Foundation.

    The Importance of E.M.F. Experiments

Before tackling the final challenge, let’s understand the significance of these E.M.F. Experiments:

    Unlocking the Life Story Suit:

Completing all E.M.F. Experiments is a prerequisite for unlocking the Life Story Suit, a powerful suit with impressive stats and a sleek design inspired by Spider-Man’s long comic book history.

    Tech Part Rewards:

Each completed E.M.F. Experiment rewards players with Tech Parts, a crucial resource used for suit upgrades and crafting gadgets at the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Supply Co.

    Story and World-Building:

These experiments tie into the narrative, showcasing Max Modell’s research and the potential dangers associated with genetic engineering.

Reaching the Final Challenge: The Emily May Foundation

The final E.M.F. Experiment is located within the  Emily May Foundation, Peter Parker’s  aunt’s former workplace.

    Here’s how to access it:

Head to Peter’s Apartment:  Fast travel or swing your way to Peter’s apartment in  Astoria.

    Locate the Box:

Inside the apartment, look for a small box with glowing green lights near Peter’s desk. It’s usually situated  beside the window.

Solving the Final E.M.F. Puzzle: A Step-by-Step Guide

The final E.M.F. Experiment presents a hexagonal puzzle with various tiles representing different plant attributes. Here’s how to solve it:

    Double Plant Tiles on Top:

Begin by placing the two hexagonal tiles with leafy green patterns at the top slots of the puzzle. Ensure the double green ticks on these tiles connect seamlessly.

    Water Droplet Placement:

Moving clockwise, place the water droplet tile with a single blue tick on the left side, adjoining the top left plant tile.

    Second Water Droplet:

Directly below the first water droplet,  position the remaining water droplet tile.

    The H-Shaped Tile:

Next, place the hexagonal tile with an “H” symbol directly below the sun icon in the center.

    Sun Icon Placement:

Finally,  slot the remaining hexagonal tile with the sun icon  in the bottom center position. Ensure the green double ticks on this tile connect with the top right plant tile.

Congratulations!  By correctly arranging the tiles, you’ve successfully completed the final E.M.F. Experiment and unlocked the Life Story Suit.

    Tips and Tricks for Beginners

Focus on the Matching Ticks: The key to solving the puzzle lies in matching the colored ticks on the edges of the hexagonal tiles. Ensure these ticks seamlessly connect when placing adjacent tiles.

    Experiment with Different Arrangements:

If you get stuck, don’t hesitate to experiment with different tile placements.  Visually scan the puzzle and see which connections would work logically based on the tick patterns.

    Use Online Resources:

If you encounter significant difficulty, numerous online resources and video guides showcase the solution step-by-step.

Beyond the Final Experiment: Exploring Other E.M.F. Challenges

While the Emily May Foundation challenge marks the final hurdle, there are several other E.M.F. Experiments scattered across New York.  Here’s a quick rundown of their locations:

    Midtown:

Located on a rooftop across from the  Daily Bugle building.

    Greenwich:

Situated within a greenhouse on the rooftop of an Oscorp building.

    Upper West Side:

Found inside a greenhouse on the rooftop of a building across the street from Fisk Tower.

    Chinatown:

Nestled within a hidden greenhouse  northwest of the bridge leading to Williamsburg.

Completing each of these E.M.F. Experiments will grant you Tech Parts and contribute to unlocking the Life Story Suit.
